National Association of Phone Data Providers
Purpose and Membership Requirements
NAPDP was founded by various telephone number data providers to establish a set of usablity and principles amongst the various service providers of reverse phone lookup data, whether they service law enforcement, private investigators or individuals.
In order to become Verified Members, Phone Data Providers need to apply and their services will be reviewed by our staff. If you would like to become a Verified Member, your services will be benchmarked by our team. Please note that these benchmarks are not done upon reviewal of your application - rather you will constantly be evaluated to ensure that you meet our standards. Your membership may be revoked without prior notice if you are found in violation of any of the guidelines we set. Some of the criteria that will be evaluated include, but are not limited to:
- Quality of the results provided - a sample of 100 benchmark phone numbers will be run through your service every month and the quality of the results will be evaluated. If the accuracy of your service falls below 98%, your seal will be temporarily suspended until further evaluation.
- Excellent customer service - we will contact your customer service team and assess their ability to resolve issues efficiently.
- Provider's policies - a quick and easy full refund policy is mandatory.
- Enforcement of refund policies - refunds need to be issued within 48h
- Ability for anyone to opt-out
- Contact us for membership fees and receive an application
The NAPDP Verification Seal
Verified Members will have the ability to display the NAPDP Verification seal on their websites. This seal can be revoked by NAPDP at any time and if it is revoked, it will not show on the provider's website. The seal is clickable and allows for verification of the identify of the seal-holder.
Report a Provider
Were you disappointed by the services rendered by a NAPDP-Approved vendor? If so, we encourage you to report this provider. Please email us with the name of the provider, any information you may have about your purchase, and a description of the issue. We will investigate the matter immediately. |
